ARNOLD SCHOOL OFFICE OF RESEARCH
The Arnold School Office of Research was founded in 2001 to
assist Arnold School faculty, staff, students, and their research partners with
activities related to increasing research productivity for the School.Services Offered:
- Researching grant funding opportunities
- Supporting interdisciplinary application development teams
- Arranging pre-submission peer reviews of applications
- Working closely with USC's Sponsored Awards Management
Office (SAM) to route and track Arnold School grant applications and
contracts
- Producing the annual Arnold School Research Report
- Providing support for the Arnold School Research Advisory
Committee (RAC)
- Hosting the annual Arnold School Research
Orientation
- Making presentations to classes about grant development
procedures
- Assisting Arnold School faculty, staff, and students with
other grant application and contract development support as requested

April 2009 RC1 Challenge Grant Submissions
ASPH Internal Deadline: Monday, April 20 by noon
To ensure that your RC1 proposal is routed efficiently through
the USCeRA system to SAM by SAM’s internal April 22 due date, and
processed through Grants.gov by the NIH April 27 due date, be sure
to upload and begin routing your complete proposal by noon on

This workshop is for ASPH staff who are involved in the
administration of grant or contract-funded projects. Faculty may
also participate if space is available. Instructors will lead
participants through the process of sponsored projects management as
it applies to policies, procedures, rules and regulations for
sponsored funds. Even if you have already taken the GRANT Post-Award
Administration class, it will serve as a refresher and provide you
with new information. Come be part of the ASPH post-award
administrators’ network!
