Diversity is a strength of our department – with student
representation from the Southeast, across the U.S., West Africa,
India, West Indies, and other countries. Our students come from
a variety of academic backgrounds and life/work experiences, but
share a common desire to improve the health of individuals,
communities, and societies.
Students gain academic and work experiences, not only on campus, but in
locations such as local and state health departments, volunteer agencies,
community organizations, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the
Office of the Surgeon General. Graduates of our programs work in a wide
range of academic, research, and applied settings and programs.
We invite you to learn more about HPEB students by clicking

student representatives, you may contact them through our Academic Services
Coordinator, Dr. Casey Goldston (Goldston@.mailbox.sc.edu). |
