Do you wish to take part in our STROKE research?

• The purpose of this research is to understand how persons with stroke recover from communication difficulty.
  
  
• Participation in this research is completely FREE of charge.
  
  
• Participants will receive a thorough evaluation of their communication abilities.
  
  
• Participants will receive thirty hours of speech therapy over the course of the study.
  
  
• Treatment focuses on improving word retrieval by providing intensive treatment.
  
  
• All treatment sessions are conducted on an individual basis and are conducted by a master’s level licensed speech language pathologist.
  
  
• Treatment sessions take place at the University of South Carolina or participants’ place of residence.
